Here is a disassembled example of the Copex. The core (1) is threaded into the
barrel (2) from the bottom. The large handle is threaded onto the top of the core
(3). Glue is applied to the threads. The worm shaft (4) is inserted into the
assembly through the bottom of the core (1). Finally a brad is inserted in the top
of the worm shaft and a wood dowel is driven through the upper handle (5). It is
then sanded flush.
