The "Cork-Away" is the Federighi's early "Cork Pops" in packaging almost exactly like
Cameron's "Cork-O-Matic." It is labeled "Cork-Away, The Jet-Age Wine Cork Puller".
The instructions and the box give this further information "Manufactured by Target
Distributors, 1355 Market Street, San Francisco 3, Calif., Lic. Patent No. 3,085,454" (Just
a short distance from Cameron's address).
The Kork Jack is very similar to the original Cork Pops except for the needle
connection to the body. This version has a walnut body with a hand rubbed finish. The
packaging does not indicate a place of manufacture but has the address: Kork-Jack, Inc.,
8693 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, California.
On the packaging for the "Classic Cork Out", there is a reference to U. S. Patent
