The first cork ejectors produced by Metallindustrie Denkingen Gebr. Streicher were

colorful simple devices after Werner Streicher's 1964 patent. A red and yellow example

and a grey and black model have been found:

In 1968 Metallindustrie Denkingen Gebr. Streicher became Emide-Metallindustrie Gebr.

Streicher. They were now producing cork ejectors with the Emide name.
