Harold Horner of the Prestige Group Limited, London had applied for his British patent

for "An Improved Cork Extracting Device" on February 3, 1966 which was patented

June 12, 1968. Horner's French Patent Number 1,509,521 was issued on December 4,

1967 well before the British patent.
