The Weidlich Manufacturing Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut
produced Alfred J. Flauder's U. S. Design Patent Number 87,567
of August 16, 1932 for a "Design for a Bottle Opener." Weidlich
marketed the combination cocktail spoon, corkscrew and cap lifter
under the name "Jolly Good Mixer." Attached to the hat of this
example is a plate from the exhibition.
Another example of the “Jolly Good Mixer”
had a decal depicting the Hall of Science on
the hat.
