Perry & Co. had offices at 18, 19, &20 Holborn Viaduct E. C. (London). A manufacturing
facility was at 36, Lancaster St., Birmingham. They had representatives in New York
Brussels, Frankfort, and Amsterdam. The firm billed its ―Monthly Illustrated Price
Current‖ as a ―Medium of Inter
-Communication for Merchants, Manufacturers,
Stationers & Dealers in Fancy Goods.‖ Issues published in 1882 offered a wide range o
f
products including mechanical pencils, steel pens, scissors, letter clips, rubber bands,
glove hooks, propelling toothpicks, inkwells, clocks and watches, mechanical banks,
toys, and hundreds of other items. They also offered corkscrews, taps, corks, and bottle
locks:
A Lund Lever with ―Perry & Co.‖ on the connecting plate is known.
