Orangina began selling outside France in 1985. It is now sold in more than sixty
countries by Cadbury Schweppes who bought the product from Pernod-Ricard
in 2000. Today it is the market leading soft drink in France with annual sales of
over 180 million liters. It can now be purchased in cans and plastic bottles and as
well as Orangina Rouge and Orangina Light.
Two corkscrews with Orangina advertising are shaped like the drink

small bulbous bottle. One has a bottle cap lifter cut into the backside while the
waiter

s friend type has a cap lifter above the bottle. It is marked A. S. MADE IN
FRANCE. A. S. is the mark of the Birambeau company in Paris. Both steel
stamped steel pieces carry the label
