Bugs Bunny
Bugs Bunny was born in 1940 in the Warner
Brothers cartoon studio. His first appearance
was in the film
A Wild Hare
directed by Tex
Avery.
From 1945 to 1964 every Warner Brothers
‘
animation director worked with Bugs Bunny
including Chuck Jones, Friz Freleng, and
Robert McKimson. In films he could be seen
staring at the business end of Elmer Fudd
‘
s
rifle or fending off the antics of Daffy Duck.
After a long running career in the movie
theaters, Bugs got his own show (
The Bugs
Bunny Show
) where fellow Looney Tunes
characters turned up including Tweety Bird,
Sylvester the Cat, Wile Coyote, Pepe Le Pew,
and many others.
In 1997 Warner Brothers Studio
Store marketed a Bugs Bunny
double lever corkscrew made in
