The rocket with the lever on the side
had a three fin base which could be
pulled off to pull the cork from the
needle. The second model has four fins
and a plate built into the top of the base,
strips the cork from the base as it is
being pulled off.

In the Air Cork Ejector chapter, several patents by
Karl Horst Knopf were discussed. In Solingen,
Germany, Wecomatic produced an air cork ejector
named the "Cork Lift" based on Horst's 1964
invention. In the previous year, Knopf had already
applied for and was issued a patent for his gas ejector
design. The application for a
Druckenkorker mit
Sicherheitsventil
(pressure cork remover with safety
relief valve) was filed September 14, 1963 and Patent
1,883,315 was granted November 21, 1963.
The first model produced under this Horst patent was
also marketed under the name Cork Lift. The address
on instructions was shown as "Kork-Injektor, 565
Solingen-Ohligs." They were produced in black, white,
and red. Annual production was about 40,000 pieces.
