The Parkway Cork-Pump.

Girtag's Otto Schwarz says

that this product "is known to

us since 1969. We noted this

poor copy of the Corky selling

in France. Packaging had no

manufacturer name, directions

for use were in poor English,

and it was probably produced

in the Far East. It has

disappeared from the market."

The Swiss Cork-Aire was described by Austrian inventor, Gero Artmer, with "Corkaire

is a Swiss product. It was not very well sold. So they made a copy of my model and

produced it in plastic. When these failed, they ordered my metal design without

packaging and put it in their leftover boxes."

When the Swiss distributor ordered

these unpackaged units from Artmer,

they imprinted them with "Cork-Air,

Swiss Made" and sold them in the

CORKaire boxes.
